Hi - sorry not interested in P/Ex as I'm continuing to weed out and reduce the amount of kit I have! Thanks for asking though.

Kris - it's the later 52BB version made from 1983, and therefore without filters and tripod mount. However, I've read somewhere that it performs slightly better than the earlier 52B version - so swings and roundabouts I guess!

Cheers,

Jon

You may need to differentiate between the body and the lens - that 18-135 Nikon lens does not have the best of reputations.

Relutantly putting this up for sale, as I rarely use it now that a lot of my photography is with m43.

The lens is in really excellent condition and comes complete with original hood, cap and Adaptall mount (PK, not PKA). Also in the original Tamron hard leather(?) box, which is almost as new.

The Tamron 500 is highly regarded as one of the best of the mirror lenses, and is capable of excellent results. I can post some of mine if poeple need convincing!

It's certainly a cost-effective way of getting a long telephoto lens - although you need to be happy to use manual focus, and prepared to use a monopod or tripod for reliable results (it's light weight but you are pushing your luck to handhold it and get really sharp results).

Will post some images later, but asking price is £100 including RMSD within the UK, but excluding PayPal fee if you prefer to pay that way.

Cheers,

Jon

More useful range and slightly cheaper than the Sigma 10-20. But the Sigma performs more evenly from the centre to the borders. The Tamron is very sharp in the centre, but the borders are not as impressive.

I have a set of three boxed B+W filters (yellow, orange, red), all 52mm thread and in super condition if there are any film shooters who would be interested. Would prefer to sell as a set rather than individually - £25 including Recorded Delivery within the UK.

Cheers,

Jon
