Also interested in either the DA18-135 or Sigma/Pentax 17-70 to go with it so if you have body and lens for offer, I'd be especially keen to hear.

You've done well with these - and probably also lucky with the cruddy weather, which reduced the likelihood of spectacular highlights and bokeh problems. Made me realise that maybe the Tamron is a perfect lens for your average British summer
