Agree the blue looks rather good. Better in my view than the red (or white) which look a bit cheap. However, I prefer the K-5, which would be my choice at the price SRS are selling them for.

I guess it depends how often you expect to manually focus a compact digicam - I've never used MF with the MX-1, and to be honest the depth of field with a small sensor means that you can usually get even the close up stuff OK with AF in any case if you carefully select which focus point to use. I can, however, see the enormous benefit that focus peaking would bring with MF lenses on larger sensor cameras - I suspect one of those features that you don't want to lose once you've tried it.

Paying for a replacement car means some downsizing of the photography gear sadly, so I am reluctantly putting this superb lens up for sale. Outstanding image quality and only a few months old (purchased from SRS). Like new with hood, caps, pouch case and box. Will come with receipt in case of any warrantee claims.
