dear mongoose
perhaps you could try sticking the point of a darning needle ( that shows my age!) into where the lug was & try moving the little inner slide back up. If this works, (or if it doesnt) have a peer downthe card slot to see if the lug is down there,& try gently tapping it out, & then have a moan at PENTAX!
Best of luck! ( )
Harry

dear viewfinder,
the mirror will raise if you use 2 or 10 sec delay, it raises on pressng the button, but the shot is not taken till the delay xpires, thus helping to avoid shutter slap when mounted on a tripod, when your anti-shake is switched off. may I say RTM? without causing any burst blood vessels!

dear Pete, Have been out of the big picture for a while & have just now returned to irritate people with my flippant comments. Ilove your pic of the waterfall, I find it very pleasing to the eye,& very restful, & would hang it on my wall quite happily. IMHO there is far too much CRAP spouted on these chat lines, IMHO ones pics are taken for ones own pleasure,& if they please others, fine, & by all means say so, but please dont waste the space by airing your spite on people who are takig good stuff, & getting pleasure from it, & showing us what they can do. Some of the spiteful & mean rubish that has been spouted, ( or should that be spat?) on this thread is almost unbeleivable, & it would serve the guilty parties right to find themselves banned from the users club!

best wishes Pete,

Harry Jones

Ithink its a super pic of a wild animal, whether its tame, in a zoo, or out in the bush, the top of the head is v.g.& the eyes are perfection, pity about the glarif white chest, perhaps ypu could crop some of it?

Dear Lilly,
To digress off the subject ever so slightly, if you set up as a B&B,
you could cater solely for K10D owners only. Yould pyay for your camera & as many cards as you wanted in the first 6 months! What a wonderful way to start a K10D owners club!. Just a thought!
