I bought a cheap FAJ 75-300mm online as I don't have anything decent longer than 105mm these days in KAF mount and I thought I'd give it a go. When it arrived the (plastic) mount had been smashed, most likely in a nasty camera fall. It couldn't even be mounted on a camera! Even Cash Converters must surely pay some basic attention to what they're buying and selling.

It's going straight back, obviously.

A couple of weeks ago at a wildlife park called Faunia in Madrid I spotted a couple using a Pentax DSLR - a K30, K50 or K70 I think.

The previous time was in Valencia a few months back when I was surprised to see someone with a K-1 and (I think) the 24-70mm f/2.8.

Pentax users are very few and far between in Spain, even more so than in the UK.

A very nice review. It seems Pentax have not lost any of their ability to design cameras for real photographers.

Nice images but if I can add some positive criticism, I think they would benefit from some more contrast. I'm not one of the many people who crank saturation and contrast up beyond where it should be, nothing over the top, but a bit more.

The DA 35mm f/2.8 macro Limited is an absolutely fantastic lens and I'd highly recommend it. Does double duty as a standard prime for everything from landscapes to portraits.
