Ditto....

I will be keeping my F/FA 50s regardless - that rectangular lens hood just oozes mojo....

I could be swayed if Ricoh or Pentax increased the font size on the hood by a considerable amount, just like on the FA telephotos and 645 lenses.

Now up to £999 .... Never could understand Amazons pricing.

A few weeks ago they had the new D-FA 21mm for less than £800.

I got my 31mm half price from Amazon. Then it went back to full price again!

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Tempting as Amazon’s prices are I never buy photo equipment there as I think they undermine other retailers who provide a much better service, as well as a physical presence where you can inspect products before you buy.

I agree with your sentiment RobL, but to balance that Amazon do offer a 30 day returns policy for any reason, so there's p[lenty of time to examine the goods.

Personally, I buy from SRS almost all the time and I'm always very glad to do so!

Amazon tend to lower prices to move on stock when there is only a few left, then when they buy em in again you get the higher price, it's always worth waiting, I recently picked up a brand new albeit silver 15mm Ltd for £279. (Silver should always cost less cause it's, well yukkie!)

That's an absolute steal at that price - If I didn't have one already I'd snap it up
