For those who haven't seen the original thread, can I suggest indicating which lenses you are trying to sell?

No purpose whatsoever? What about being compatible with a full frame camera, when they launch one.

However I agree it doesn't seem *likely* this lens is FF.
Which they haven't done and haven't confirmed are going to do, hence no purpose. I'd be very surprised if a lens like this covers FF at 20mm.

I have the FA and it's great. I would be very surprised indeed if the new DA has different optics. The coatings may be different but other than that it's just more plastic and has no aperture ring.

I very much doubt this is full frame as it would increase the cost a lot for no purpose whatsoever. I also doubt that it's WR, as no ltd lens has ever been, it doesn't look like a WR lens.

It's a little odd-looking but I like the Takumar-styled zoom ring.

Assuming performance is good wide open, this could be a useful little lens. Of course, having a ltd zoom that at 20mm is f/2.8 further undermines the 21mm ltd that's only f/3.2. I can see the possibility of my 21mm being replaced by this in the future, but we'll wait to see the price. Given the prices of the new ltd primes, a zoom like this could be 700 quid.

The focus markings go from infinity straight to 1.5m, which suggests that focus will be very sensitive a la 35 ltd, which is bad news for manual focusing.

The P30N doesn't have light seals except around the window for seeing the film type on the canister inside. Of course, it does have a mirror bumper, but I have two P30s and P30N and none of them have needed this replaced.

That works out as 565 quid for a K5II, which strikes me as a really great deal. I just wish I had 565 quid lying around...

For anyone unsure, there is a spot at the bottom right of the above two images, about 3cm up and 1cm in, on my screen. That's all I can see. Looks like it needs a clean.

Unfortunately, Kodak don't make film any more.
That's completely untrue. Kodak films are still in production and there are no plans to change that, in fact I believe that film is the only profitable part of Kodak. The film business has been sold to the UK Kodak pensions fund, but it's all Kodak, which is what I was referring to.

Ha ha, Kodak needs all the cash it can get, so good for them. As a film user I'm glad to see a little extra money in their pockets.

Though they'll probably squander it on their horrible, horrible printers...
