I spoke to PayPal customer service when I had the same problem/issues, and on their advice just opened another PayPal account using (i) a different email address, and (ii) a different credit card.

I thought there was a proposed solution?

Could have been more than one thread.

There was a recent thread on this Forum that dealt with something very like the situation you describe. Suggest you search posts dated 2010.

I remember one of the Forum members who responded was MattMatic.

From memory it's something to do with the way Pentax flash circuits are protected/triggered.

In my local Asda to-day (Wallington, Surrey) and they had a good deal on a Sanyo 'Battery Power Pack'.

Priced at £12.49, (marked as half price), this consists of 4 x AA and 2 x AAA Eneloop batteries, a two cell quick charger, 2 x C size battery adapters and 2 x D size battery adapters, all in a plastic case. The C and D adapters take an AA battery.

As a guide, Asda sell 4 x AA or 4 x AAA Eneloops batteries for c£7.50 a pack, and the two cell quick charger (with 2 x AA batteries) for c£12.80.

Seems a good deal to me. Bought one.

I did a quick search on ebay and found this lens, recently sold.

Sunagor 28-80mm f/3.5-4.5 macro zoom, Pentax PK, caps.

Item no.270534867338.

Is this it?

Look at Redsnapper tripods. Always seem to be well regarded by those who have them. Said to be well made and great value for money.

The camera has Green mode - sets shutter speed and aperture to the proper exposure, plus auto focus, which you could say makes it a very well specced point and shoot. (I'm sure I'll get beaten up for that comment.) It is also capable of every manual setting you could want.

It used to be the top camera in the Pentax range (until the K7) and I think it safe to say the camera most Pentax users aspired to.

It can be as simple (see above) or as complicated as you like. This is a camera that will grow with you for years to come.

I would have thought that for weddings you'd be looking to get up close? Surely with a long lens you'd be too far away from the subject and unable to avoid people getting between you and them, etc? Is there something about the wedding that shouts out for a long lens?

I'm sure there will be people here on the Forum who can suggest the best combination of focal lengths for a wedding situation.

Have you seen this elsewhere on the Forum?

Looks like a great opportunity; too good to miss! If I didn't have one already...

As to your lenses, they'll fit any of the cameras you've high-lighted, plus the K20D I've have linked to.
