Sanyo Eneloop batteries. Good deal at Asda

In my local Asda to-day (Wallington, Surrey) and they had a good deal on a Sanyo 'Battery Power Pack'.

Priced at £12.49, (marked as half price), this consists of 4 x AA and 2 x AAA Eneloop batteries, a two cell quick charger, 2 x C size battery adapters and 2 x D size battery adapters, all in a plastic case. The C and D adapters take an AA battery.

As a guide, Asda sell 4 x AA or 4 x AAA Eneloops batteries for c£7.50 a pack, and the two cell quick charger (with 2 x AA batteries) for c£12.80.

Seems a good deal to me. Bought one.

sounds good, although i bought my last set of 4 for £6 from amazon. did see asda have 4 packs a few weeks ago at about 6.50

That's a great package. Suggest that as a cheap alternative for additional batteries you have a look at the thread about the 7 day shop similar product - 'Good to Go' currently running elsewhere.

Does anyone know of any other high street retailers that stock Sanyo Eneloops or an equivalent to power a k-x? My local asda didn't have any in stock.
