What does the Pentax adverts says???
If the Pentax ad says/shows the same usage as caused you this issue, and is therefore inferring that it's within the normal camera/lens capability, then you might have grounds for getting it fixed foc by Pentax.

Which ad are you referring to?

My manual (for a K5II) suggests this indicates the battery is faulty, but...

I've had the blinking light issue a number of times. Although the battery may be faulty it could also indicate the battery has been over discharged and the voltage fallen to a point where the charger see's it as faulty.

Try taking the battery in and out of the charger a few times, effectively repeatedly restarting the charging cycle.

Hopefully after a few attempts the charger will have pushed some charge into the battery, you'll see a steady green light and the battery will charge. If not the battery should be covered by warranty, so back to the shop.

In a similar vein, I read that the sensor in the K5II is not the same as that in the K5, it having been redesigned - something to do with the size of the photo-sites? Only saw this once.
Where did you read this?
Wish I could remember! It was in an on-line piece before the K5II launch.

Yes, there will be duty at the appropriate rate, which might be 0% and then VAT at 20% plus a collection fee which could range from £8 to £20.

If the value, including postage is less than £18 you should be OK.
Thanks!

Anyone know please if there's duty, etc, to pay on goods from Israel?

Seen something I'm after advertised for just under £20, but not so good if there's duty, etc, added, unless ony a few £'s.
