Not the best example, but the only one in my portfolio that I have added the information to, this was definitely the Teleplus 1.7x SHQ.

Non that I could point you to directly as the converter doesn't show in the EXIF data, I also use a Teleplus 1.5x and Tamron 1.4x, it's hard to keep track of which converter was in use and when.

I have one of these, I can confirm it works very well with SDM, turns the DA*300/4 into a very nice 510mm f/6.7. Little loss of IQ, still very sharp in the centre, slight loss of contrast. AFAIK the Promaster is just a re-badged version of the Teleplus.

Scots Guardsman would make a fine sight at Ribblehead, depending on the weather. The Train of Hope should leave Crewe at 09.00, I had planned to catch a shot at Winwick but Ribblehead would be a far better location IMHO. The approximate timings for The Hadrian 13.15 at Carlisle so a relatively early start required to catch her at Ribblehead.

Have you been using it a bit more recently John? I'm still conflicted about getting this lens. Sample images online seem a mixed bag.
Hi Will, yes I used in at Cheshire Steam Fair, I had to force myself not to take the Siggy 10-20 I'm still undecided whether to keep it or not. I need to get out more

Having owned both I'd say the 24mm is beter, I'd definitely keep it.
