A firmware update that gives the ability to manually enter a multiplier to SR regardless of the lens in use, for use with TC's 1.4x, 1.5x, and 1.7x, faster AF, dedicated SDM rear converter 1.4x, longer lenses up to 600mm, better high ISO noise reduction, K10/K20D body size/ergonomics........ the list goes on........

Only the lower half of the fourth petal (counting from the left) appears burnt out to me. The rest, although bright, have quite a bit of detail for the most part. :
I'd concur with that.

Doesn't look burnt out to me either, I can see detail in the white petals, clearly.

Don't see much wrong with that, perhaps the stamen could be less central, but it looks great as it is. I have the same lens, it's one of my favorites.
I love the way you can get in close with the Sigma 24mm, get 1:4 magnification and retain plenty of DoF without stopping right down to f/11 and beyond, makes a great walk around lens as well IMHO.

Hi Mille19

Just looked at your images - very impressive. I assume most of them are with the DA*300 and the teleconverter?
Is marrying the converter to this lens easy, and what magnification do you get?

Thanks

QC
Hi QC, the converter just mounts on the rear of the lens (bayonet fit) with a 1.7x TC you'll have 510mm equivalent, 1.5x = 450mm and 1.4x = 420mm.
Hope this helps.

John
