Ironically, this is where I have found my K-1 excels, using centre point focus only. A typical example would be a strand of tall grass in front of a background of distant trees. The K-1 nails it every time, whereas several mirrorless cameras have been flatly unable to focus at all. The same applies to, say, a small bird within a mass of branches. Not an easy subject, but the K-1 is fully capable where many others fail.

It worked just now and I've successfully uploaded five images, so waiting now to see how long it takes before they appear.

I've logged on now and all the originally posted images are there, the last ones dating from 2015. That leaves me with quite a few to upload. At 5 per week it could take some time!

This is the sort of thing that's easier while handling the camera, otherwise we're guessing.

However, a place to start would be fully charging the battery out of the camera and then trying again. Remove and put the card back into the camera. Format the card in camera. Double check all settings, just in case something has been switched on. Remove the lens, clean the contacts on lens and camera with a dry, soft cotton cloth or a microfibre cloth.

It's a start anyway, so I hope something in there helps.
