It works well enough, but the huge crop factor means that very long lenses are impossible to control. I have used a 100mm macro as a 500mm-equivalent but that's about as far as is reasonable. The 150-450mm was impossible to aim, never mind control.

I'd contact the Pentax repairer, Pye, to see if they can give you a quote for repair.
If you don't like the quote, then eBay or Amazon for a replacement, but don't forget to check with Chris at SRS first in case he has something.

One the left is my grandaughter Bethany and on the right is her friend Shelby. They came to meetings now and again and I was never quite sure if they targeted this one because of who was appearing or whether it was chance! Either way, a splendid time was had by all.

I don't think I've ever shown you these two images, from the visit of thingsthatihaveseen to ADAPS early 2018. It was a great night and, as you can see, everybody had a great time.
Cheers Bill!

It's great to be able to use these cameras and lenses and I'm sure that's something that is being rediscovered.

Nice vlog, enjoyed it and it looked about right for the weather on Skye!

Great images, but a bit too big to enjoy properly, on my screen anyway. I have to scroll each image to see all of it. Limiting to 1000 pixels on the longest side would be a better viewing experience.
