Rather than post twice, much better only once otherwise people won't know which post to reply to. The other post seems to have attracted the right answers!

Here's the link to the discussion already taking place: https://www.pentaxuser.com/forum/topic/250mm-limit-65060

The Zoom 90 probably defies the description "compact", being a bit of a chunk of a camera. Not too keen on most of them, but the Rollei 35 cameras are nice if used with care. The Olympus Trip is simple but actually very capable.

On the other hand, there are lots of nice Pentax compact digital cameras and they deliver the goods.

The 75-150mm is great, the 70-200mm I owned a long time ago and it was a good performer on film.

A reminder has gone out, if there's still no reply a new comp will go up tonight anyway.

Your K20D probably has more computing power than Voyager 1 and 2 together.

It's an interesting thread. I'm not moving to mirrorless any time soon, basically because I like the DSLR experience, especially the pentaprism finder. Nothing has to be switched on to look through the camera and the view is fantastic.

As long as enough people buy DSLRs then they will be there, maybe in smaller quantities and from fewer manufacturers, but then again there may be a resurgence in interest if and when the drawbacks of mirrorless begin to irritate some users.

The company was Riken back then and in 1970 produced the Ricohflex TLS-401. It was a screw mount SLR with TTL CdS match-needle metering. Pentaprism converted from normal eye level use to reflex viewing by turning a knob on the side of the pentaprism housing. Black or chrome were both available.

Does that sound like it?

Some of the instructions for the MX actually state do not use Lithium batteries. The LX might be the same, so I'd stick with silver oxide. I'm not sure why Lithium are not recommended, but it might be something to do with either them running hotter or maybe gases given off.

If you are talking about a small rotational movement, I've observed this is several marques and their lenses. As long as the lens is in firm contact with the mount a miniscule rotation doesn't seem to have any effect. It should be miniscule though and probably would go unnoticed unless we start twisting lenses routinely to check.
