Not seen any photos from an ES11 before and am impressed!

Taken in York and Manchester just before the snow. I have been impressed with the Kodak C41 process film, seem to get very consistent results.

The next two were taken with a Pentax Program A with a M Series 50mm F2. Film was Fuji ISO 800 that I was having a test of.

Any and all C+C welcome! Manual cameras are fun! I thought some analogue shots would help me develop my eye and basic skills, though am very much learning by experiment......

How would a Nikon D70-D80 compare to a Kx for a similar used price?
Ultimately second hand prices are governed by simple supply and demand.
I was commenting on the way cameras seem to hold their values really well, which would be good if I ever let my K200D go! Which isn't likely. But bad if you want to experiment without blowing too much money.......

During a short period of eBay selling recently I have been perusing quite a few camera listings and it has struck me (along with valuations here) that used DSLR's, even quite elderly ones, still seem to command quite a strong value.
Particularly Nikons it must be said as well as quite baffling model organistions! Though I have been surprised at what Pentax *ists go for still.
The reason I'd be thinking about upgrading is that technology has improved the DSLR considerably even in the last couple of years and unusually for consumer type electrical products cameras still go for a premium.

Just find it interesting is all. Lens prices I can understand for good glass is desirable whenever it was made but the bodies?

This was me essentially testing the M series 28mm F3.5 on my K200D to see how it reacted. Here are a couple of shots from today. Straight from the camera. The light was quite poor and I was using ISO 100 setting. Was about 20 minutes from sunset.

Just had it out on the front of the K200D for some near sunset sky shots and a bit of rural paths/trees etc and I am very happy. This is my nearest set of fields and where I like to test new kit as I'm comfortable with shooting here. Results are excellent and whilst it seems to overexpose in lower light with the digital that is easily compensated for. Now I see what the fuss about quality primes is all about!
Thanks to Dangermouse and JonSchick for the recommendation and the opportunity to own a lovely copy of this lens.
I'd recommend anyone with an old prime lens to try it on a digital camera.

The first one was simple opportunity, was unusual to see keys hanging on a railing like that...........
I think I have found my medium now with black and white film, haven't had such success with colour film but I will continue to try! Not sure I'll use an ISO 800 film again though, far too much grain and very hard to control, better with ISO 400 and a tripod or handy wall to lean on!
