Thanks karma mechanic... thats a usefull link, I kinda thought it did'nt quite fit with Tom Waits graveley delivery, it needs a rp sort of sound to make the pun work. and Francis Bacon could pull that of when he needed to. jeff

Nice one Giorgio I had'nt seen that I guess thats the best option, and not abad price. And thanks to you Ken if I go the split screen route.
The camera is still ok to use just got a anoying smears on the focus screen.

I'm a fool,... I just wet cleaned my sensor, with a kit from visibledust,fine no problems did what it said on the tin.... result clean sensor hurrah.... But as I had noticed some bits of dust etc on the focus screen I thought I'd just give it a quick wipe with the swab ! Now I have a smeary focus screen that will not clean.. argh...
So I think I need to replace it, a new screen from srs is 60 quid ! all the screens on ebay are split screens (but much cheaper)
has anyone bought one and did you find it easy to get used to ?
Or has anyone with the same problem managed to clean a smeary screen?
