(Looks carefully for LA & CA on the edges of the black stripes...)
It's like the people are walking on a test chart from photozone!

What an incredible canvas for photography - you could have stayed there and played for some time I expect.

Hehe well I did lurk there for quite a while waiting for this chap to stand still for a couple of seconds! No tripod either, so this was me trying to hold the camera steady atop a rounded bannister rail.

Hi Tim, is that taken in a shopping precinct?

I just ask as I got a security guard asking me to stop when I did that recently.

I did think about somehow naming after the giant piano scene in 'Big' but couldn't think of something snazzy enough

Karl, there have been a lot of reports on this forum and other places of UK shopping centre and office building security guards stopping people from taking photos. This one was taken in a Hong Kong shopping centre, where they are too practical to waste energy on something so stupid.

I love the contrast between the still and moving people. I'd like to see it framed with none of the blank floor above the stripes - so that the stripes continue out of the frame if you know what I mean!

Wow really like this. The contrast between the guy standing still and the blurred movement of the other people is great. Well done for having the foresight of seeing the shot.

Thanks all for the comments!

Pentaxophile thanks for the suggestion, I previewed it by scrolling to cut off that part, and it does look pretty good. It also sorts out those annoying reflections at the top of the frame, which is a bonus.
