I used to be like that about things in me eyes... but contact lenses changed my life ... the number of glasses I lost, sat on, dropped off tall buildings. also misting up when going from cool out side to hot inside ,motorcycle helmets, swimming, showering, the list goes on, I now have lenses that I leave in for a month 24 -7 It's like having the eyes of a 20 year old ....jeff...

40 or more years ago I was in the south of France with a group of friends we had driven up from Spain and we were as starving as teenagers get .
Anyway we dived in to a small family run resturant and ordered 'Steaks'
And boy they were the best steaks we had ever eaten, cooked to perfection with butter and garlic ... later that night after a few bottles of the house red my schoolboy French did a bit of translation,,, and yes it was horse ... ah youth....jeff.... PS thinking about it I'd rather eat a horse steak than a supermarket 'beef' burger...

Right I've got it , I find most camera straps just useless and short and I have had a go at making a fitting that works for me Is the tripod fitting on the camera British standard whitworth or some special tripod thread ? I don't know , It looks courser than that, you might have maninfuster something to fit from an old tripod ... let us know how you get on, good luck Vic .... you sound like ... well me ... jeff

I've never taken pictures of aircraft before , I was at our local air strip yesterday to pick up my partner and one of our neighbours on a flight from Athens, as I arrived this smart looking thing was just about to take off. I was half an hour early so I got the camera out of the truck and waited till it left .
I tried to get the rotors frozen and, the panning through the fence was tricky but I think the K100and the 80-320mm did a good job . anyone know what this cool looking helicopter is ....
C and C welcome...jeff...

Great cake Bernard , did you find the 'sweet spot' of that lens ,
Many happy returns or as they say here "Kronnah Polla " (many years )
