Hey everyone,

Wishing you a belated happy new year. My beloved Pentax 645N unfortunately got water damaged on recent trip. Just wondering if anyone has 645N/NII for sale? Please do get in touch if so!

All best,

Jake

Hello - hope that everyone has had a happy and successful start to 2024.

I have a Pentax LX currently on its way to me which doesn’t have any strap lugs. Does anyone have a spare set they would be willing to sell? There’s a set currently for sale on “that” auction site for about the cost of a CLA which is out of my budget unfortunately!

If not, I understand I could go down the Optech Super Pro A route - but then I think you’re locked in to the Optech straps and I’d rather use a Pentax one I already have. But any views on alternatives to the LX lugs most welcome

All best wishes,

Jake

Great, thank you.

Hi there, thanks for the reply. After the standard SC-21 but open to others if they're suitable for everyday use.

Thanks,
Jake

Hi all,

I hope someone can help me out - I'm after a Pentax LX focussing screen, my current one has some distracting black gunk and (permanent) smudges on it from the previous owner. Preferably the standard SC-21 screen, in good condition.

Unfortunately got ripped off on 'that' auction site with an aftermarket screen, should have tried here first.

Thanks all,
Jake

Thanks all for your comments and suggestions - a forum member was selling one which I went for.

Thanks again all! Looking forward to trying this lens out.

Hello fellow Pentaxians,

I'm after a Pentax K SMC 28mm f/3.5 if anyone has one they wish to sell. Please send me a private message if so.

I'd also be keen to hear anyone's experience with one of these lenses on film if they have any thoughts.

Cheers all,

Jake

Welcome David, I'm also from Hampshire UK and a Pentax MX user. Looking forward to your posts.

Best wishes,
Jake

I develop and scan myself now but have in the past been very happy with Photo Film Processing: http://www.photofilmprocessing.co.uk/

Good results and reasonable price-wise. Will push/pull film too.

I've gone for that one that was for sell on eBay - thank you to all for your posts. Excited to try it!
