Without wishing to stir the pot One factor in any low turnout could be that Polling Issues are treated like any other Thread so quickly disappear from view, down the list.

One might suggest that if an issue was important enough to have a Poll, it should be a Sticky for at least a week so the occaisional browser has a chance to see it.

How about a blaster button, that you can click to ignore somebody you don't like?

That way if you don't like somebody or thier avatar, you don't have to look at it.

I'm not big on censoring, but if it helps somebody else get through thier day, why not allow it on an individual basis?
Nah - In the heat of the moment, on a bad day, you could chop half the Members off

Hi Anne - K7 Grip arrived- well packaged and excellent condition Thanks.
Although generic, I must admit can't see why anybody would want to pay another £150 just for the Pentax Badge.

Guess you still have some other stuff to sell?

Gareth - in the dark bits, you know between each firework going off - you need to be able to find your beer glass

Thank you for that Dave. Yep evolution rather than revolution. There have been several good ideas floated and at some point these will need summarising.

I don't see that me raising the question is destructive, and acknowledge that the final decisions can only be in the remit of TPTB:

But I do feel that sometimes a) Members shout other Members down, when that's not the point of the exercise, and b) TPTB give the impression that the status quo is sacrosanct

Fair point, but for those of us who stuck at K20 this is looking like irresistible!!

I agree. If you are with the K7 then maybe wait, but with a K20 it's a natural step up. I skip a model anyway ist / K20 /K5 so happy now for a couple of years - just will get on and learn to use it

I noticed the lack of the SR button but haven't had time to look further. Does this mean that SR ON is the default, and you have to do whatever to turn it off?
