Like the silhouette Kris - lovely backlight colours, and the ripples add a nice touch.

Graham,

Kris has a point there. I have also stuck with a K10, and got some better glass to go with it instead of upgrading the body. While I don't have the other two bodies to compare, there's enough info out there to indicate that each has its quirks and limitations - just like the K10. Arguably, glass may be a more critical limiting factor than the body / sensor, but YMMV.

Kris,

If I came across as having cut across your bow so to speak, apologies - not intended that way!

There are shades of Turner in the image, IMO - no mean feat. Well done!

Rob,

Hope you don't mind - I have also had a dabble with the 3rd image, and like Kris, it's been a quick one. I have taken a slightly different approach (via B&W and split toning), but again, it's merely indicative of the potential of the image and not complete by any stretch.

Again, hope you don't mind...

Push through the pain Phil!

Seriously though, a warm welcome to this forum from another recent arrival, and to the world of SLRs with quality images.

Ralf,

3 & 4 for me - I see what Kris says about no. 3, maybe a portrait orientation?
