Haven't uploaded any winter pics (still sifting through the bounty from Singapore). So here are a few:

The last three are long exposures If you happen to take a cool long exposure, why not submit it to the fortnightly competition?

Last one's a peach! (or should I say groyne)

I especially like the first one, lovely patterns in those crystals. I also really like the last one. There is something not quite right with the third one though. Perhaps a different crop? Or too blue a cast? Or a bit of both? I cannot quite put my finger on it! It feels as though there is a picture there but that isn't quite it. Great stuff, though, as always!

They ooze quality as usual, you make it seem so easy... mutter

Kris,

maybe it's that dark bit at the top. The colour is probably quite accurate, the sun had set. But maybe it would look better with a slightly different hue. Might be worth cropping the top a bit and play with the colours...

Thanks for the comments!

Wow they are great shots - I especially like the first and the last. The first is a bit like a Mandelbrot set (I guess I shouldn't be surprised) and the last is just wonderful. I like the third one being called Stormtroopers - great title

Cheers

They are all stunning shots and like Mat I find the first and last the most appealing of a your high quality set. Lovely work.

Ralf,

3 & 4 for me - I see what Kris says about no. 3, maybe a portrait orientation?

Thank you all for your kind words!
i-Berg: That's a good idea, will give that a try.
