John - you still have 6 hours left to scan one of your old slides

I have decided that the shift lens is not wide enough (unless used on a full frame) and even then it is not that wide. No bids on it so far.

Bidding on the macro has slowed right down, but I expect there will be a late flurry.

All excellent shots - Mike.

I think that your vantage point was better than mine (down on the beach).

The listing makes no mention if the shift lens is being sold with the original manual, which is apparently rather essential for a shift lens, unles you enjoy endless hours of experimentation getting nowhere

Well there is another one now, BIN for £1,665.64. Mind the post is free!
Crazy money now (for both lenses).

At least I won't have to bother to tune into e-bay over the weekend.

LBA = lens buying addiction

I read reviews on both the 70 & the 77 and concluded that with apparently similar performance and the 77 about 50% more, the 70 made more sense.

Having said that, the 77 is considered to be part of the 'holy trinity' - the FA 31, FA 43 and FA 77.

I bought the 31 much later, from a Forum Member.

Welcome

The 16-45 is a fine lens.

Sounds like you could in the early stages of LBA

Uploading for the Weekly Competition is very straightforward.

Just click 'Upload' and select the relevant image from your hard drive.

I really don't see how it could be any easier.

The Forum itself is different and requires a link to a hosting website.
