Whenever I go out with the car and my wife is with me, I seldom manage to get some decent shots. I always feel under pressure to hurry. Despite her saying:" Don't worry about me, take your time"
However I can't just drive off and then 50 yards further on stop again, or wander off and leave her sitting in the car by herself.

What I have started to do, since about six month: Every 4th Saturday, if practicable I take the car and go alone just to photograph.
I leave early in the morning, to get the morning atmosphere , then have a good lunch at a nice spot, ( A cool beer and some cheese and sausages) then move around until the evening. Before going back home again.
I take as much of my gear with me as I want. I may use it or not, but it is great fun just to have it with me. > just in case < . This is very relaxing and I don't feel I have missed something.
The results are much better now. I get often a really likable picture in 50 shots.

Regards, Horst

This is a grat looking catalogue. Great pictures of the lenses and great photos.

It would be great to get this as a real catalogue on glossy paper.

If it's on the 5th of november (as it is with most of us) then I'd suggest the WR-kit lens cos it'll probably be raining (even if you don't notice it)...
Thanks to all of you. I will take notice of what you suggested.

The fireworks here is on 7th of June (on the Queens birthday weekend)
It will be in the middle of winter here, and it may also be raining.

In a couple of month,I have the chance of seeing a fireworks display.
Not from a distance, but frome close up. I will be just about underneath it. lookin up at angle of about 30deg to the actual dispaly in the sky.

What would be the way to do it, and what type of lens should I use?

All spiders are poisonous. Most however can not penetrate the human skin.
