I'm just over the hill in Bradford, Idle to be precise. I'd prefer to be in France, Spain, Italy....

But I'm stuck in Bradford!

Cheers for replies, Bass and Bligh is a tiny shop with not much in. Annings is even smaller and expensive. Bradford camera exchange, not so sure. They have been there for years but I think are a second hand shop type dealer.

I guess my point is that since Jessops dropped PENTAX there aren't that many places that sell their stuff, at least not round these parts.

Will have to buy off the net and rely on reviews etc on sites such as this. Just wanted to confirm that was the case.
Bradford Camera Exchange does a good selection of NEW Pentax and Samsung goodies, they seem to have taken over where a previous national retailer left off. Not sure what they have in at the moment, but they did have some lenses a few weeks back and the Pentax road show visited them recently.

Give then a call to see what they have.

The only dealers I can think of are Bradford Camera Exchange on North parade in ,you guessed it, Bradford, Bass and Bligh on Beulah street in Harrogate and Annings in Ilkley.

The first two have some lenses in stock, I don't know about annings.

If you Google the names you can get their phone numbers.

I had a Miranda 28mm lens awhile back and got good results with it, don't know about the other lens.

As for the camera you got a good buy with all that kit.

If you need some batteries PM me your address and I'll send you a pair.

Lovely shot!
Now.
The sun is almost opposite you - somewhat to the left. I can't see your exif, but it looks as if they haven't had lunch, which means they are facing north-east and the sun is still south south-east ie somewhat to the east of south.
I am therefore sure that if you had sneaked round behind them and taken another shot, they would have appeared green!
They wouldn't have looked so tasty, of course, IMHO
(Sorry - that should have read: "tasteful")
Impressive, I don't understand a word of it, but impressive.

As for the peacock, nice one John.

Point taken Kris, that may form part of the study although I'll have to use a tripod as I don't have a copy stand.
