At the moment we're more in need of longer lenses than 300mm and the choice is not brilliant. We're taking our time to get the right opportunity for the right lens.
As it is a new body is still a few years away for me.

As for rangefinders, I'm currently after an Olympus XA, not the 1,2, or 3 models, just a simple XA.
The last one I bid on went for £70ish, and I'm tight with money!
If Pentax had tried a camera like the XA it would have been a worthwhile project. I have an XA2 and enjoy using it, but it's just a 'point and shoot' not an RF.
The new PEN from Olympus, now that's what a rangefinder should be, not the bloated Lieca offerings at twice the price.

They still seem a popular choice and sell for more than I'm willing to pay, and that's with the hard to source film used!
I've a couple of rangefinders and enjoy using them from time to time, but the image quality leaves a lot to be desired when compared to any of my film (Pentax and Zenit) SLRs.

I tried it, didn't like it, but that was several versions ago and I'm giving it another try.

I'd have only framed 3 stools/tables(?) and focused on the middle one.
Still a nice set though.

It reminds me not to be shutter happy and compose my shots.
I've seen too many canon DSLR users shooting HUNDREDS of frames and not getting any thing usefull!
I've also started playing with 120, now that's different again...
