I think they're referring to the white K-x, affectionately known as the Stormtrooper(from Star Wars!) model.

Good to see that Pentax are alive and kicking well in the US of A

No brainer to me, I'd keep them for that odd use that gives such fantastic results.

But I an a magpie where lenses are concerned...

The 55-300 may be the cheapest version of the lens Pentax do but it's better than my Tammy 70-300, therefore also better than the sigma.

I'd go for it.

After all, you can always sell on here if you don't like.

Ah the P and M Panther!

Phelon and Moore built these beasts in Clekheaton, not to far from where I am in Bradford.

My Grandfather had one long before I was born, so my mother tells me.

Election?

Thank the lord all the self centered egotistical politicians will soon be banished to where they belong, oh wait, that was a Terry Pratchet book where the politicians were sent straight to jail, 'it saves time later'

If I'd get a three wheel vehicle, this is what I'd go for: http://www.campagnamotors.com/
I've seen a couple of these around, very nice, a sort of sports car with a difference.

The only problem is the price!

Three wheelers have come a long way from the Reliant Supercar

I always carry a film camera in my bag, either an Me super, an ES, an ES11 or an SPF. I love them.
I like the look of them, the feel of them and the results they give.
But they will never replace digital!
Don't you mean digital will never FULLY replace film?

I shoot film as a reminder and enjoy doing so.

Current favourites are my MX for manual and MZ-6 for auto focus.

An Olympus XA is also lurking in a pocket at the moment...

It's funny that when I raised this subject earlier last year nobody was shooting on film then, now though...

I hate people who say drawring...

...IT ONLY HAS ONE R AND IT'S AFTER THE D!!!

I always fancied a three wheeler, and almost got a Morgan JAP> I little ponce in the bank didn't think it was worth loaning me £150 to buy.

30 years on you would need another 0 or 2 on that!

Just a country's fine Jack.

I know I keep raising this and location is optional but it is nice to know that when we recommend SRS(for example) the person we're trying to help is in the same time zone!

Apart from that, where's all our Canadian, Australian and US friends at the moment?
