Bojidar is still catching up with recent releases Kris, he'll get there eventually.

I wouldn't be put off by the lack of hood or plastic mounts. The lenses are the best you'll get in the price range and better than some more expensive ones from other manufacturers.

Our office at work used to be occupied and had a TV license.

When 'Mac' died, a shock to us all, his flat became part of the property and the licence lapsed.

After several years and quite a few visits the authorities agrees we don't need one.

Guess what arrived last month?s

Just finished a roll of film in my little Olympus XA, might get it developed tonight, shame I won't be able to show the results as it's not a Pentax!

Hard luck on the Giro Gwyn, if you're not happy with the K20 do a swap with your hubby.

Tell him it's a step forward and he'll probably make better use of it, then in a few months time treat yourself to a K7!

Digital obsolescence seems built into the micro chip psyche!

I have and old(3 years?) MP3 player I can't use because formats and operating systems have changed.

On the other hand my copy of Dark Side Of The Moon on vinyl can still be played today, and that's from the early 1970s!

Likewise my old negatives can still be printed but images from an old digicam are on an unknown format.

Has film still got a place today?

I'd say yes, alongside not instead of digital.

A friend recently bought a Sony 37" TV and had no end of trouble mounting it on the wall.

The bracket in the manual that was for it didn't fit it at all!

A second Sony bracket had to have lumps cut off so the cables could be attached.

Good picture though, now it's on the wall.

My 32" Sony bought in the sales after Christmas last year is still going strong.

How on earth are we supposed to read it???

I think it's for a wide angle lens, but my screen isn't wide enough to see!

I bought a P30 body a while back that came with a free ever ready case and 50m f1:1.7 lens. neither of which were mentioned!

The 'body' cost me a fiver!

Lucky or what?
