Just got the Samsung version of the 100m. I can see why this lens is regarded well now, the colour rendition and sharpness are superb.Comment Image

#2 and 3 for me Kev. The water on the leaves is a classic shot and very well executed.

The depth of field in #3 is well carried out with the subject sharp in the frame.

Just a point, resizing to 800x600 before posting gives the best image size for these threads.

Thank you George, it's so refreshing to have a conversation with somebody who appreciates the finer points of the English language.

I get annoyed at constantly hearing 'init' 'nowotameen' 'wikeed' and other slang and pointless phrases, some, not all, originating from American gang culture.

The bulk of youths that use them are usually too thick to remember their names!

This rant coming from a Yorkshireman as well!!

Funny how alcohol triggers numerous pages of drinking advice. And I thought this was a pointless thread

PS. A teetotaller myself I cannot participate in this discussion.
Tried Lapsang Souchong once, it was like drinking burnt rubber!

Enough to drive a man to drink...

...but not Lapsang Souchong!!

Drink of choise has to be VB (Victoria Bitter).

Strange thing beer - you're place of residence can be deduced in some peoples minds - accused of being a Queenslander on my last (planned) night at Coffs Harbour because of the beer I was drinking (they didn't do VB:!

Could I also put in a word for Wadworths . Yorkshire real beers are all very good but they ain't the b all and end all . Abbey, brewed here in Bath is well regarded.

Steve
I'm sorry if I gave the impression that I only drink Yorkshire beers,I like others as well.

Jennings from Cumberland comes to mind, good range and the Snecklifter is a favourite.

Then there's all the real breweries in Kent, the Cider farms of Somerset and Brittany, the caves in France...

I almost forgot the Swedish stuff...

Your post is not really permitted in this thread. It contains USEFUL information.

Thank you.

G
but George any source of mind numbing intoxicants has to be shared!

The Brewers Dark is a passable drink by the way, went well with the beef for tea.

not sure what to drink next, could be a G&T.

Haven't been in a tetley's pub since the beer changed so I wouldn't know.

It was a good pint though.

OP gets it's name from this LINK

Keep up now...
