No interest, eh!
Blimey! - I give you a beautiful series of finely crafted photographs of a true design classic, with a painstakingly researched history of the development of sports shoes in the 20th century... And what do I get in return?. Total disinterest, that's what... Apart from a comment about the bleedin' lens, used.
You bunch of ungrateful, Hush Puppy wearin' old fogeys, you!
I dunno why I bother sometimes, I really don't!

In number 1 the crop feels much too tight, numbers 4 and 5 have those large blown out areas, and 2 is okay but I feel the focus should have been on the logo, and the part circle bottom right and slight tilt are a bit distracting.
Number 3 is by far the best in my opinion. A good shot, well exposed, of a (for me) not particularly interesting subject (sorry)

Nah, Nah... Too late now! I'm determined to have a good, long sulk! Then start posting pictures of flowers, like everyone else.
Seriously, though, Bob and Tim. I think you both have it the wrong way around. - Lousy pics on an interesting subject.

Well I like Sambas! I own a pair myself.

To be honest, this reminds me of an advertisement for Adidas. Well executed, though. Any thoughts of offering the series to the manufacturer?
Best regards

Lovely, Jack!
Thank you, Terry. Somehow, I don't think they'd be interested.

Another pic when they're 5 years old perhaps?

London.
Launched in 1950, it has been, with just a couple of minor changes, in continuous production, ever since. It is a true design classic; The VW Beetle or Leica 1 of sports shoes.
I have had many pairs over the years. I bought these ones, today.
All with istD and 35mm Zeiss Flektogon.
