Certain very nice retailers will honour warranties for a second user especially if the seller and buyer are members of this forum.
Chris at SRS is the gut to talk too if you buy an item with remaining warranty from their store.

You could make one from 4mm cord from the climbing section at go outdoors. They do nylon cord in lots of nice colours.
I've just found an MV in a box, a little grubby but could be a candidate for a paint job.
Lets face it, MVs are boring in black sooo....

If this is typical of the 645D quality I can see it being very popular with studio and pro photographers.
Nice shots, the full size lotus is impressive.
