Since rumours feed people who repeat the rumours, the fact that two or more sources say the same thing is not significant.

I haven't had chance to talk to a second source about this but am only passing on what was said.
As Photokina is around the corner, so to speak, it will soon be proven, or not, as fact.

DM's right about the photo chances as well, I'm sure your lovely wife would go with you and help push you out if you got stuck, and the car as well!

Both the K-x and K7 will remain in production giving Pentax a four, yes four, body range.
Don't think we will be seeing a FF body this year though.
I'll admit to the error, though I don't know if we'll see the 645D in Europe soon.

Looks like the K-5 is the new flagship model and the Kr will sit between the Kx and K7
