Is that the 20th of September or October Chris?

Just so I can set an alarm of course.

As if he'd do that.

On a more sombre note, my dishwasher's gone belly up.

We bought a Baumatic 2 years ago hoping it would last.

It hasn't!

I'm with DM on this, a135 that's affordable(£150?) and maybe a 50 and 28 to go with it.

Come on Pentax, you have the ability to produce a 'budget' range and boost sales without too much outlay.

Use the old groupings and plastic mounts to give us a selection we ALL can afford.

Or advantageous to the lens collection.

So the actual street price could well be below the £140 mark as the 18-55WR is LINK.

It's been bugging me all day, this lens is being called a KIT/STANDARD lens.

Does that mean a choice when the K-r comes out of the 35 or 18-55?

If so, going by 18-55 pricing I may wait until the new year and pick one up for next to nothing.

Are Vivitar serious with this?

Ten dollars for a P and S auto film camera is a good price, but I can get SLRs for that!

Not to mention the Espios and trips I keep seeing in charity shops.

Welcome to this mad, frustrating, enjoyable forum.

Weather's not good here either.

Still, tonight's curry is simmering away on the stove. It just needs some mushrooms and capsicums adding this evening to finish it of, the quantities depend on whether Honesty's boyfriend is coming for his supper.

Am I missing something?

I like paper books, they don't need batteries, can fall off a table or chair arm without breaking and can be read anywhere.

OK, so Lord of the Rings is a bit heavy for hand baggage, but at least it hasn't to be turned off during take off!
