If it's the focus screen that;s damaged try this firm.

I've just got a replacement for my K200d from them, they're fast and good value.

Hey up Hyram, that's photography speak and people(me) get told off for mentioning things like that here!

Not touching the dishwasher until I've talked to Baumatic.

Don't forget I'm in the UK Gwyn, the laws here are different and tend to favour suppliers once goods get over 12 months old.

Before or after it's been washed?

I put 'never', so far I haven't needed to clean the contacts because there's always a lens on the body.

It seems to work for me.

It was, and that included postage.

The camera has been used quite a bit since I got it, I prefer it to either the P30n or P30t I have.

To be honest My preferred cameras are, in no order, MX, P30,MZ-6 and Olympus XA for the pocket.

cheapest working K-mount camera and lens? I think my near-mint MZ-50 and 35-80mm for a tenner on ebay last year
Lucky so n so!

Mine was a little more than that, boxed.

My cheapest 'K set' will be the P30 for £10, complete with SMC-A f1,7 lens and Kodak Film!

Otherwise it's an espio that works fine for 50p in Oxfam.

I might try them on Monday..

Pimms is going down well tonight, I need to get some more lemonade for it in the morning.

What we have to remember here is that Pentax are releasing a cheap, for them, prime that should/could encourage more new and existing users to try primes.

Is it not a good idea to encourage experimentation?

Hopefully Pentax will expand the affordable plastic fantastic range with 28, 50, 135, and other focal lengths.

Until we see images taken with the lens we shouldn't condemn it for it's construction.
