I know I can't spell and my grammar is terrible but this was pulled straight from an ebay listing

selling due to the need of a didgital slr for my current course.

Now call me cynical but if this guy is a student how did he get to uni when he can't spell DIGITAL???

Or is this indicative of the class of student we're going to see?

Big hammer time?

Or a call to the suppliers?

As for TV drama, New tricks for me, I enjoy the gentle humour.

You can still do your own wiring, if you're a 'leccy or don't tell any one.

The guy that did our house before we bought it used a 4" nail as a master fuse and fencing wire for the ground floor ring main earth!

As for me, I only change bulbs nowadays, somebody else gets the dangerous jobs.

Nice set Adrian, The first 2 look almost medieval.

This is the sort of place I like to visit with a film body loaded with B&W.

So you can telephone the electrician and complain at least.

Good luck with the lounge sockets.

I remember re-wiring our house and finding live wires that weren't connected to ANYTHING!!!

The house was only 60 or so years old at the time and the electrics were in lead sheaved cables!

On a different line, I've a new web page of old folding cameras up here.

Welcome To the forum Andy, don't worry about the *ist sulking.

As long as you give it the odd airing it'll be just fine.

Cracking lens on a ME or MESuper, if you can live with stop down metering then it's well worth a play.

I got mine for £20 and have used it on both my DSLRs.

Can't confirm what Kris says about the 2.5 version though, they seem pretty scarce.

The thing to remember with the Sigma 18-200 is it stops short, going out to around 180mm.

Having said that, they're cheaper when you find them and, if you don't need the long end that much, good value for money.

I have and use both a Tammy 18-250 (on the K200) and Sigma 18-200 (on the K110) and find both produce good results.

The Tammy was bought as an all purpose walk about/holiday lens to replace the Sigma. IQ with both is fine.

This is a Tamron sample and this from the sigma

It certainly was Stefan.

Thanks for the soup recipe, like John I think I'll give it a go.
