I like humbugs, and still can't take good photos.

I agree on one thing George, if the image is duff DON'T blame the kit.

Not until you've sorted everything else that could gowrong first.

I stopped getting AP a while back, but I scan it from time to time.

I know what you mean Kris, nearly all my old colour negatives are ISO 100,there are a few '200s but...

The race for higher ISO speeds has lost me!

I use auto sensitivity on my K200d, but have it capped at 400. It very seldom gets that high.

Blood?

Isn't that something in the alcohol stream?

That's the problem with being a good chef Tony, your clients just keep coming back for more.

And as word spreads more clients appear and the word spreads further and...

...can I suggest you move house before the Cyrils take you hostage?

Hard luck Barrie, the last time we had water indoors it was an overflow pipe that had got disconnected and brought the ceiling down in my sons bedroom!

That was last year, it's sorted now with fresh plaster and paint.

As for heating spider, I hope the gas guy gets to you tomorrow. We spent the coldest winter this century trying to get to grips with the (then) new wood burner. No worries this year though.

Can I suggest that you both relax with a little drink of something warming, like a good malt...

Thamks for the advice, now I've got an idea what to do I'll start to play with it.

Ok the problem is I've acquired a reel of HP5 film and it's slightly out of date, by several years.

To develop it how much longer than the usual 7 minutes is it going to need?

Is there a formula that I could be using or will it just be trial and error?

Ah yes pebble dashed legs!!

I've had a duff day today, so far I've tried 3 times to develop various 35mm film strips, all to no avail. I seem to have got the timing thing wrong! The 120 film though was a success, so not a complete waste of time.

Think I'll move back to digital, oh wait a minute, I already shoot that as well...
