Spoke too soon.

Some extremely dodgy refereeing, but they deserved the equaliser.

Not many footie fans on the forum btw (including me - forced to watch but not a fan) .

Ladies did well yesterday.

Poor Allan. He's only trying to be friendly.

The forum does tend to be a blessedly sport free zone though.

It's nothing personal Allan. This forum (even General Chat) is meant to be photography related though: link

Feel free to add this into Another Pointless Thread. Of course we will repeat out comments too!

Maybe if you had started your post, "The England team looked very photogenic in there kit.............." then it's photography based chat.

You've got the idea, this is for photographic chat. More than once people have expressed a sigh of relief that off topic threads don't dilute the photographic agenda...

I think it is confusing for new members as there are 2 "Chat" forums. The "General Digital Photography chat" and the General Chat". I know beneath it does state, are "for general photographic chat", but many miss this. Maybe a forum entitled "Off topic" would be more appropriate.

Take your point snappychappy. The last time this was discussed it was decided against as generally it's not much of a problem and many people like the freedom from background noise.

Anyone who does have a strong feeling about it is more than welcome to drop me a PM to give their thoughts. I'm sure it will be discussed again.
Best regards, John

Oops, sorry for putting this thread in the wrong place. I'll pay more attention next time, honest I will.
