Well, with my LBA solved and armed with my very heavy Sigma 50-500mm lens (APO, HSM and all that) we went to hunt wildfowl.

Blue Billed Duck attack at full speed, head on at Slimbridge Wetland Centre, Gloucestershire, UK.

The impact of this image was helped by the viewing area being lower than normal and so just above the water level itself.

Pentax K-S2, f8, 1/1000th sec, 290mm (Sigma 50-500mm lens) and 400 ISO - hand held.
Tis an exceedingly heavy lens and great that one can rest it on fenceposts and suchlike occassionally!
It works, and I am happy with this shot. - what do you think?

I've got an Olympus Varimagni sitting here by my keyboard!

It fits my Pentax and has a 1.2 and a 2.5 magnifier lever switch on it and it swivels around too.

Never used it as I have the livescreen which articulates and moves where I wish

Wel, I tried one for a laugh (and as part of my LBA) and was expecting it to be a bit soft image wise.
£10 inc delivery for a 58mm adaptor that fits on the lens and gives 2x multiplication of the iimage size.
I have asked to return it - see if you think that it's a good deal to be led to ....
