Seriously though I was pretty torn between the E-520 and the K-m. The E-520 has some nice features over the K-m and visa-versa. In the end picking up the camera and feeling the build did it (plus the view finder ). The E-520 is very good build wise (much better than Canon for example) but the K-m is just another step up IMHO.
In addition to that I have finally decided to gradually migrate over to Pentax 100% (or maybe 80% if I keep my E-510 and kit lenses) so that had a small impact too.

In the end we have opted for the K-m body with DA 18-55 MK2 and DA 50-200 as a starter kit, also Eneloops as recommended (plus the all the other usual bits and pieces to complete the package). Picking it all up from SRS Saturday

Ah, sounds very much like the menu options from my K20D. Yes I have read else where that 'natural' seems to be recommended. We will take a look at those sharpness settings too.
