I'll just chip in and say the FA is a stunning little lens for the price. I highly recommend it (but it's not splash & dust proof of course).

Just a little heads up
My daughter is over the moon with her K-m, I think she managed to rack up 400+ shots over the weekend, some of them pretty good
Thanks to all for the advice / opinions on this great little D-SLR

Hi Malc, welcome to the forum

Well thanks for taking the time post them

Hey Lynton, thanks for posting those. Were they taken on default settings or after a bit of tweaking (sharpness, natural settings etc)?

Hi Steve, welcome to the forum

Hi Steve,
welcome to the forum, glad you are enjoying your new K20D

Hi, welcome to the forum

My K20D is my first Pentax. I also own an Oly E-510 with Oly Pro grade lenses. I'm gradually moving over to Pentax for the following reasons:-
1) Weather and dust sealing / robustness.
2) Build quality.
3) Image quality.
4) Customisability (is there such a word?)
5) Camera feel and operation.
6) I prefer not to follow the crowd
Oly also ticks most of these boxes (for me) but they do not have a weather sealed body that I like (from a handling point of view).
So Pentax it is

Hi Will,

Welcome to the forum, very sorry to hear about your gear being stolen
It's sickening when someone feels they have a right to take somebody else's hard earned property
