That Oly you were thinking of is a nice bit of kit, but the lenses are eye wateringly expensive,
To be honest it is probably why the lenses (Zooms) are so eye wateringly good
I wasn't doubting that, but I was more commenting how it's an awful lot of money for most non-pro photographers to lay out...
Agreed

He he, yes but her K-m wasn't on continuous

Yes you are right it is easy to use but with more advanced features if you want them, a great little camera.

Photography kit is really addictive, watch out you seem to be developing a mild case of 'LBA'

I agree, the K20D feels so much better balanced with the grip fitted, especially with DA* lenses. The grip is permanently on my K20D

Likewise here Scott, I have mine set to user select and I tend to move that focus point around quite a bit

Best of luck with your new Canon gear Terry, I hope it all works out OK for you

Yes CA at the wide end is something this lens seems to suffer from. It can be 'dialled' out with a good RAW converter though.
This lens has a few positives and negatives, call it character but generally I like it particularly when used in the sweet spot(s)
