On the Pentax forum someone has posted that the updates are:

1. Correct Distortion and lateral CA with

smc PENTAX-FA 31mm F1.8AL Limited
smc PENTAX-FA 43mm F1.9 Limited
smc PENTAX-FA 77mm F1.8 Limited

2. Correct vertical adjustment (???)

3. Better stability with some SDHC cards during video recording (i.e. it solves the issue with some memory cards stopping after a certain period of recording video)

The National Trust have recently altered their terms on Photography.

"All visitors to National Trust properties are allowed to take photographs out of doors for their own private use. Any individuals wishing to sell or publish photographs should contact the National Trust."

"Amateur photography (including filming) without flash is now permitted in historic interiors at the Property Manager’s discretion. As with outdoor photography, any photographs taken are strictly for private use, and enquiries about selling or publishing photographs should be directed to the National Trust"

Hi Tony,

I don't know how much they are on ebay but I can recommend SRS Microsystems (also see them recommended elsewhere on this forum).

SRS - Kenko 1.5x TC Clicky

They have it for £89 and if you mention you are a member here you'll get free postage..

Yes it works, however as I said there is some image degradation/softness to the image with the convertor on.

Looks like a no go as the AF will only work correctly at F/4.5 which limits the focal length to around 70mm plus what extra is gained with the converter on the lens.

I can use my Kenko 1.5x on my Pentax 55/300 lens at the long end with problems only occurring in very low/poor light. My Kenko 2x however is a no go on this lens. Main problem you will have is the image degrades somewhat through the converter...
