Buying glasses that gave me a 1.5x focal length would be quite interesting!

Received a letter the other day about my 2 year eye test being due, in it was some sort of competition to win a Pentax compact. Didn't know but Specsavers tend to use Pentax lenses

I am becoming a real geek!

As if I would do something that silly! A friend of mind recently purchased the D80, I had a mess around with it and I think I'd still rather have my K100D!

Jeez, wouldn't want to meet her down a dark alley! Good picture. Though does slightly look like her hair is on fire!

I tend to use mine a lot for removing dust from the from element of the lens, so in that respect I guess it would be handy for that. Though I'll still keep it in my bag until I need it. Sounds like the large on, I think the smaller one is the size of a pool ball.

Absolutely Dan. My 3 year old son is obsessed with the rocket blower. I think it is simply that shape for the 3 year old in us all!

I did read somewhere that the the holes in the fins are to allow it to be carried on some sort of lanyard around your neck for easy access...good idea, though don't think I'll bother.

I went for the big one and find it brilliant for removing dust, never used the small one so can't really comment. Does take up quite a bit of room though.

Totally agree, the comments, although somewhat time consuming for the judge are valuable for the photographer. I personally wouldn't have a problem writing comments about the pictures when I win...*hint*...*hint*

I'm pretty sure I have seen adapters to allow K fit lenses to be used on a Canon, so presumably you should be able to get one that works the other way (optimistic as ever!).

Good luck.
