I have one, I bought it from one of the members here, it was in great condition, clean and everything working. Don't use it much because to get the best of it you need a sturdy tripod. We are talking about a 900mm equivalent on a K5 etc., so support is needed to get the best of it. It does give good results, maybe a little soft, especially toward the edges, but you can sharpen stuff a bit in software. I also had the 500mm Tamron, I think results were much the same, but I like the Sigma better.

I've been here once or twice over the last 20 years and I love the place. I was working up here last week and took a trip out from Wick with the K3 + Sigma 70-200 f2.8, this is what I found.
All the stone images were 'as found' I did not stack or mess about with them, I just took the pictures.

A few images taken in Southport, England take over the last few days while I was down from Edinburgh on a Temperature & Calibration Course. I took the camera with me to stop myself spending the evenings in the bar.

Didn't sell the bellows at the time, decided to keep them, but maybe let them go now for the same price ?

All the rest were sold, just the bellows and 50mm f1.7 as described for sale.

My hard-drive's are getting full, so I had a hard look at what I actually save and what I need to save.

Cleaned out about 500GB from one of my back-up drives today, I have the habit of saving everything I shoot, but going through it, 70% are the ' 5 bracket' shots. This was just a habit I got into, but I am now more selective and don't bracket so much.

I just need to go through 5TB now, and sort that out

Did find this gem though, from the Royal Highland Show

Sorry, cheat ????

The camera is only a tool to realise an image you see in your mind.

If you accept only what comes from you camera image you are wasting your time.

Do you really think images from "the greats" didn't feature 'dodge and burn' etc. in the dark room ?

I sat and watched this lass when I was having a sandwich and a beer, she was being passed stuff to cook all the time, I was waiting for her to look up and smile, just once, but no she didn't, I could tell she hated it.

The image I posted could not have been taken by any camera known to man. I processed it so that it was what I saw im my mind and how I imagined how she felt, not what the camera took.

When I see, " straight out of the camera " I always think, 'how sad', did the photographer's imagination and creativity have no input, did he actually leave it all to a machine ???

Happy with my K3, so thought I would put the K7 up for sale before my daughter claims it.

There are a couple of pictures of the camera here,

Pentax K7

It is boxed and comes with all the original contents, the shutter count is 10007. It is in good working order and has no damage or scratches. The on / off switch is stiff, but it has been like that since day 1.

It also comes with a third-party grip with an extra battery fitted. There is also an extra holder which would allow you to use AA-batteries.

All of the above for £220 +p&p ( which I think is about £7.15 )

The Japan, Royal Highland and the Faces pictures on the Flickr link below were all taken with the K7.
