You have expanded my knowledge.
I still think the images are superb, so therefore I hate you

Followed your thread about the camera modifications, well done.
I went through a few rolls of infrared Kodak slide film more than 30 years ago, I remember the advice was to keep it wrapped in tin-foil when not in the camera. Your system seems easier
One question, to the more educated than me, if the infrared part of the spectrum picks up radiated 'heat', I would have thought that this would be shown in the image as different shades in parts of the train, i.e. the smoke stack, because it is hot, would be a different shade, ( lighter ), than the buffers ?
If I'm being stupid let me know, maybe my experience with the IR film was different.
I remember taking pictures of someone's arm, and the blood vessels stood out in infrared, because they were warmer than the surrounding skin.
May try and dig out a few of the old slide's and let you see them.
p.s. I still think the images are 10 out of 10

Smeggypants
I wouldn't say no to ISO10. You won't get better IQ though, just an inbuilt ND filter :
Surely a 'gap in the market' ?
I would see very low ISO numbers as a feature, could allow me to dispense with theses ND filters, hmmmm, "May have to apply for a patent" !
Stefan wrote: You can simulate lower ISO by using higher ISO shots and stacking them on each other.
If you want you can patent that.
Can believe this hasn't been done before, in the 'digital age' ?
No extra losses due to the use of filter glass, dust, marks etc, why can't we have it ?

I want my next Pentax to have the ISO range starting at 10, never mind 510,000
I want to use my 50mm, 1.2's and 1.4's and my 85mm 1.4's 'WIDE' open without filters.

p.s. I've upped my rating of 9.5 to a 9.7, I'm being too 'picky' great image

But, another, but, ( Duh ), I still think it is a top image, well into the 9.5's, well done !!!
