Thanks people

Gwyn, you will have to let me know your travel arrangements, because when you came to Scotland for the last Pentax meet, you brought sunshine and warmth with you, ( p.s. we need that now )

I submitted about 3 pictures this year, and the 'Icecube on the Cooker' made it into the best of the year, cheered me up a bit . . .

Ah, yes the FA*85 f1.4, I forgot, that was another of my desires, made do with the Samyang f1.4, and I love it

As a long time Pentax user, from 1972, to be exact, I have desired many different Pentax cameras and lenses.

Over the years, I have acuqired many, but not all, of my desires.

The latest was when the K7 came out, I am now thinking about the K5.

But I am hearing rumours of it's replacement. So that's on hold.

Anyway, to get get back to the original idea of the post, all of the Pentax cameras I now own will accept the Pentax lenses I have, there are a couple of Pentax lenses I have desired, but never got round to owning, I have read reviews about them and although some are good and some are bad, I would like to get my hands on :-

FA-20mm AF f2.8

and

A-50mm MF Macro f2.8

Both still seem to be available, but with sky-high prices.

Do you have any such desires ?

A couple of Pentax cameras here,

Some may find it distressing ?

There are some really 'freaky' ones that might be with more then ???

I'll look out the best

On my way to Inverness at the moment, for the ferry to Orkney tomorrow, that is if Hurricane Bawbag doesn't come back.

I took about 120 images in Edinburgh earlier this evening, and about 95% came out like the first picture below, the rest were ok, any idea what could have happened ?

All shot RAW, ( PEF ), outside temperature about 2.0ºC.

All on the K7 with the Samyang f1.4

You will be glad you had the 'weather sealed' K5 ?

Like the last one best :-}

I like it as well, nice tones

John

Sorry, Nigel

I did it, then wished I hadn't.

It was your picture, then I hijacked it.

The original is great
