Not sure if this is the same lens, but if it is, it gets rave user reviews here
No, it is a later version, which features AF!

That's one rare lens
Yes, and it will hopefully find a good new home soon .

To clarify - in respect of the first link - the optics of my lens is flawless.

"Subjective this is my best lens (even with the lens-damage). But I only use it when I don't need to travel a long way, It's very heavy ±2.5kg and big. [...] It's probably on par with the DA*300/4 if compared at the same f-stop. [...] Like most TC's they add a bit CA. But stoped down to f3.5 with the 1.4x and to f4 with the 2x gives me decent pictures. [...] I think this is the only lens I would recommend using a 2x TC."

Hi,

I just sold my (like new) FA 20/2.8 for 649€ (about the price, which I paid new for it).
This is not the only Pentax lens that (currently) seems to sell for the MSRP prices of several years ago .

Hi,

the FA 20-35 is a well regarded lens.
I did test it once on a film camera (MZ-5N).
The only drawback might be the build quality.
At f4 and 20mm it should probably be as good as the FA 20/2.8.
Certainly, one of the better FA lenses.

I have not seen a K 50/1.2 recently below 300€ (about 250£).

It seems this lens has profited from the hype around the "Chinon"/"Cosina"/"Revuenon"/"Tomioka"/"Yashica" lenses.
"The tale of Tomioka" (in German): http://www.kameradoktor.de/tomioka1,255mm/
Test results and a comparison (also in German): http://www.kameradoktor.de/50er1.jpg and http://www.kameradoktor.de/50er2.jpg
[Leitz 50/1, Nikon 50/1.2, Nikon 58/1.2, Pentax 50/1.2, Canon 55/1.2, Minolta 50/1.2, Olympus 55/1.2, Konica 57/1.2, Yashica 55/1.2]

There is a difference between the K and A versions of the 50/1.2: The K features 8 aperture blades, the A 9.
Thus, the bokeh also differs (e.g. 8-fold stars vs. 18-fold stars).
