I am just against this "Tomioka" hype.
Such 50/1.4 or 50/1.7 lenses sold below 20€ before that.
The similar Cosina/Yashica/Revuenon/... 1.2 lenses were not above 100€ on the used market.

E.g. the Revuenon 55/1.2 was sold new together with the Revue Solar 100.

Revue was a brand name of German catalog company Quelle.
They mostly sold inexpensive or even cheapish articles under that properietary name.

High prices are not really justified, at least the lenses should be a lot less expensive than the corresponding K versions.

K 50/1.2, the sharpest lens?

Comparison of fast (1.2) "normal" lenses:

As for the "green button" and "exposure consistency": De-cripple the K-mount!

Hi,

You start looking into ZK lenses?
just curious .

Agreed! Not best subject to test on, and also for MF lenses, out of focus causes most "not sharp"...
50mm lenses @ 1.2 are very hard to focus (things are even much harder for e.g. the 135/1.8 ).

A good method to achieve decent pictures in practice is to
- assure best focus in viewfinder,
- slightly move your upper part of the body back and forth,
- simultaneously and permanently fire away.
At least one of the shots should be acceptable.
Having had the K and A 50/1.2 as well as the Revuenon (Cosina) 55/1.2, I do not think that the latter is really comparable.

The Leica Macro-Elmarit has a mount fitted but I am not sure if it is Leitax brand. I bought it that way.
Unfortunately -- slaps self about head -- I forgot it in a drawer so we didn't test with it!
These are the only two lenses, which I would have been interested in .
So, if you intend to sell the Leica, I propably would be intrigued.

Regards,
froeschle

It also works with the FA* 200/2.8, the FA* 300/2.8 and the FA* 600/4 (just tested it here). Pentax Japan claims that the DA* 200 also is compatible.
