A* 200 prices: min. 882€, average 1334€, max. 2811€
In 1999 the MSRP of the lens was 3199DM (about 1636€).
I was interested in the macro before the price went up.

Thank you Col K10 for costing me additional money on this item . However, my final bid was significantly higher . Perhaps, I should post a family portrait with my A* 300/2.8 and my Tamron 300/2.8 AF.
At least this could be the time for a (virtual?) glass of beer for all participants. Cheers!

heard a rumor...anybody know about this?
Imho, other reliable sources also seem to confirm this.
Possible the kr replacement was ready for production, when Ricoh took over but has been delayed?
The K-5 successor may even not be announced before Photokina 2012 (enough units produced, unlike K-r).
